About
Me? My name is Mina Samaan, a Coptic Orthodox Christian from St. Marks Coptic Orthodox Church of Washington, DC, currently at college in New Jersey studying Computer Engineering. Over the past three years, God has allowed me to serve on 4 mission trips (Tennessee, Tampa, New Orleans, Africa).
Through each trip (and other experiances), God countinually builds me up on Him (usually after tearing down what I built) and by his grace, lets me experiance the fragrance of the knowledge of Christ (2 Cor. 3).
Even though I went on each of those missions with my own selfish ambitions and evil intentions, God had a plan for me on each one of them, and even though I didnt always like it, there is no better way than the will of God.
This blog? Because Andrew Mitry, whose disciple i am, encouraged me to. There is one verse that convicted me to do this.
On arriving there, they gathered the church together and reported all that God had done through them and how he had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles. – Acts 14:27 (NIV)
It has become exceedingly clear to me that God has done great things through and for our group, so it is only appropriate to give a report of these things as the Apostles did.
I hope that this blog encourages and strengthens the faith of those who read it, not through my words, but by the conviction of the Holy Spirit.

Hi Mina,
I came across your blog and think it’s great. We have a youth magazine in London (st Mark’s) and I was wondering if you minded me printing some of your comments in there?
