Why The Pilgrim?
There are 2 types of people in this world, those who understand this title, and those who haven’t read The Way of the Pilgrim.
This book is by an unknown Russian Orthodox “Pilgrim”, who seeks God in a way that was completely foriegn to me. I read this book about 6 months ago, after hearing about it from 5 different sources over a span of 6 years, and Im so glad I did. Sometimes, Ill ask myself how God took me, a perverted, annoying, troublesome (shaay for those who understand arabic) kid, and brought me to the fragrence of the knowledge of Christ. I never get anywhere, but i can say that this book was a part of it.
Theres a couple things that everyone in the world needs to do once. One is serve on a mission trip to Africa with Anba Boules, and another is read this book.

and The way of the Pilgrim is an absolute classic – pray unceasingly. One thing though, if you have extra time, Id read the books on the Must Read page before reading these post lol

I am going with a group actually, and I don’t promise reading the books before the posts, considering they are much shorter, but Ive read some of these books before they’re very good.
